Curl Girl has been made from the wish to simplify the method, as we can see that a lot of people are struggling to understand the difficult ingredients lists and figure out where to start and what to do. Haircare should not be a struggle. It all comes down to understanding the needs of the hair and using the products in the right way. Therefore, our products come with a Curly Girl Method Approved stamp, so you don’t have to spend time researching ingredients lists anymore – we did the job for you! You can therefor safely use our products and know, that you are sticking to the Curly Girl Method routine.
Furthermore, we have made the products in clear and easy steps to follow. Which means, that there is a number on each product to indicate when in your haircare routine to use them. You cannot go wrong with this.
In short, it is about avoiding products and styling that are damaging to the hair. Like sulfates, silicone, drying alcohol, mineral oils and heat styling.
Reset your hair
First step is to reset your hair. Wash it with a sulfate shampoo one last time to get rid of silicones.
Low Poo shampoo or
Co-wash cleansing conditioner
Wash with the Low Poo shampoo or the Co-wash cleansing conditioner. Low poo is a shampoo without sulfate. Cleansing conditioner is a conditioner made specially to cleanse your hair and scalp without stripping it from its natural moisture.
Hair Mask Deep Treatment
Boost your hair with the nourishing mask, which will give your curls the care it deeply needs.
Conditioner – Moisture treatment
Moisturize and seal your hair with the conditioner which will remove frizz, soften and moisturize your hair. This is an important step to “close” the cuticle of the hair and seal in the moisture.
Leave-in Conditioner spray
Use the creamy light-weight hydrating leave-in conditioner for detangling, defining and hydrating your curls. Great for refreshing as well on the days you don’t wash your hair.
Curling cream – hydrating curl booster
Use the curling cream as the last step for a perfect soft, defining and bouncy result.
